Jill Herron currently serves as CEO for Herron Property Management.  Jill received her Associates Degree in Business at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and holds the accreditations of Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS), Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) from the National Apartment Association, and Housing Cr

Jill Herron currently serves as CEO for Herron Property Management.  Jill received her Associates Degree in Business at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and holds the accreditations of Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS), Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) from the National Apartment Association, and Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) from the National Association of Home Builders. Jill has been a leader in the multifamily industry for over 30 years and has extensive knowledge and experience in many federal programs, including LIHTC, Section 8, Section 42 Tax Credit and HOME Bonds. Jill’s ability to focus and achieve owners’ expectations, as well as her knowledge on rehabs, lease-ups, compliance requirements, marketing strategies, and her ability to connect to residents and staff alike make her a top leader in the industry.

 Kara currently serves as CFO for Herron Property Management. Kara began her career as a Tax Accountant at Dauby O’Connor & Zaleski, LLC, a Certified Public Accounting firm located in Carmel, Indiana specializing in the affordable housing and community development industries. Her primary focus was the preparation and review of partnership

 Kara currently serves as CFO for Herron Property Management. Kara began her career as a Tax Accountant at Dauby O’Connor & Zaleski, LLC, a Certified Public Accounting firm located in Carmel, Indiana specializing in the affordable housing and community development industries. Her primary focus was the preparation and review of partnership tax returns, including those entities owning real estate assets and flow through entities, such as general partners and investor funds. After five years, Kara transitioned to RealAmerica companies, a for profit real estate developer, general contractor + management agent in Indianapolis, Indiana. As Controller for RealAmerica, Kara handled and managed the Accounting Department, overseeing pre-development, construction + management accounting for affordable, market rate and self-storage real estate entities. Her duties included assisting with project closings and due diligence, submittal of monthly draw packages to lenders and investors, and issuance of monthly financial packets to lenders and investors.

Amy Doppler serves Herron Property Management as a Controller. Amy received a business degree with a concentration in property management from Ball State University. She became a property manager quickly out of college and was promoted to District Property Manager and then to Senior Regional Property Manager of 14 properties and 3,000 units. Amy has over 9 years of experience in market rate communities, Section 8, and public housing. She is diverse in both Yardi and Realpage software and has extensive knowledge in the implementation of both programs. Amy works closely with the CFO to analyze monthly operations and productivity of each asset. She is a CPM candidate, pursuing her broker’s license. She specializes in new development lease ups, budgets, marketing strategies, NOI, and resident retention.

During her career, Jenny brought extensive experience in onboarding employees during property acquisitions and acclimating new employees to the property management culture. Jenny has been instrumental in developing standard operating procedures for human resources and risk management procedures. Jenny is responsible for employee compensation and benefits management, strategic management with employee relations, diversity, employment law, performance management, and employee benefits

Stephanie Payson currently serves as a Director of Software Implementation and Training for Herron Property Management.  Stephanie received her bachelor’s degree at Ball State University. She first began her career in property management as a floating leasing agent assisting 8 different apartment communities in 3 different states. Since then, Stephanie has had several years of software experience, where she has supported more than twenty-five property takeovers and implementations. She has been in the multifamily industry for over 5 years. Her software experience includes: Yardi, RealPage, BlueMoon, InfoTycoon, LeaseLabs, and Resite. Stephanie is currently pursuing her law degree at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.

Taylor Snow currently serves as the Director of Marketing and Social Media for Herron Property Management. Taylor received an academic honors diploma from Carmel High School in 2015 and took classes in Marketing at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. She is currently working on getting her Indiana Broker’s License in Real Estate. Taylor is also a certified specialist in Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint, receiving a rare perfect score on the Excel certification. Taylor also manages the online reputation for Herron Property Management portfolio. She is responsible for following up with every review left online.

Ginai received her Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology from Alabama Agricultural & Mechanical University. She later received her Master’s Degree in Public Administration, graduating from Indiana Wesleyan. Ginai started her real estate exp

Ginai Lewis-Manning currently serves Herron Property Management as the Director of Compliance. Ginai received her Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology from Alabama Agricultural & Mechanical University. She later received her Master’s Degree in Public Administration, graduating from Indiana Wesleyan. Ginai started her real estate experience with a local non-profit in Indianapolis in 2013, where she managed 84 units, mostly affordable housing. Her role later switched to Operations Manager.  Ginai has experience with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnerships (HOME) compliance.  She has also been certified as a Housing Development Finance Professional (HDFP) under the National Development Council.  Ginai has a passion for real estate development and is happy to be part of the Herron team!

Shelbie started her career as a compliance intern, helping support Section 42 Tax Credit properties. She quickly became familiar with market rate co

Shelbie Hill serves Herron Property Management as a Senior Regional Manager. She received her bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University where she found her love for property management. Shelbie started her career as a compliance intern, helping support Section 42 Tax Credit properties. She quickly became familiar with market rate communities where she floated to support different communities on lease-ups, marketing procedures, and operational expectations. Shelbie was a huge lead in the start of a relationship between the Indianapolis Coordinated Entry Program and Herron Property Management. Shelbie made connections with Coburn Place, Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention, HUD-VASH, Section 8, and HVAF of Indiana. Herron Property Management has housed over 70 homeless veterans and families. Since then, she has overseen six properties that have gone through complete rehab. Shelbie currently oversees 9 properties that have completed extensive rehabs. In addition, her regional experience has expanded into Indiana, Illinois, Texas, and Ohio.

She has more than 20 years of property management experience. TJ is responsible for the overall operations, financial results, and customer satisfaction for her multiple communities

TJ serves as a Regional Property Manager for Herron Property Management and is currently responsible for overseeing multiple large properties in Indianapolis. She has more than 20 years of property management experience. TJ is responsible for the overall operations, financial results, and customer satisfaction for her multiple communities. TJ has an employee focused mindset and prioritizes making the day to day lives of her team members more efficient and effective. She specializes in quarterly and yearly performance reviews, team member growth and development, and the customer service experience at each community. TJ also has experience with over 15 property takeovers, including new acquisitions. She assists in the entire implementation process from administer new policies and procedures to developing rehab packages. TJ’s philosophy is what makes her such a great asset to Herron Property Management: When you build the right team, you get the right results.

Regina started in the multifamily industry in 2004 on a 64-unit renovation, and for most of her career has specialized in renovation, new construction & lease up projects across Texas and Colorado. During Regina’s career in the multifamily industry, she has fostered working relationships with the Volunteers of America Northern Division, Homeward Alliance, Section 8, HUD, Churches and Non-Profit Organizations. A fun fact about Regina is that she is the founder of her own faith based, nonprofit organization from 2008-2013 that serves women struggling with life controlling issues.

She launched her career as a part-time leasing agent and has respectfully worked her way up to a District Manager through hard work, training, and dedication over the pa

Laura Taylor serves as a District Property Manager for Herron Property Management. She received a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix. She launched her career as a part-time leasing agent and has respectfully worked her way up to a District Manager through hard work, training, and dedication over the past 19 years. Laura brings a plethora of management experience from managing over 2700 units, market rate communities and Section 8 programs. Laura is extremely passionate about resident retention and ensuring her portfolio is supported. Her motto to her team and communities is “We do not have problems, only solutions.” A fun fact about Laura is she was trained as a solution-focused therapist at the Christian Theological Seminary where she learned to master the art of relationship building and solution-focused therapy that has helped her in her multi-family industry career. Laura is an asset to Herron Property Management and puts a strong emphasis on collaboration and communication.

Terrance Russell, Regional Maintenance Supervisor

Terrance Russell currently serves as a Regional Maintenance Supervisor for Herron Property Management. Terrance has over 10+ years experience working in Multifamily Maintenance. He provides extra support to our onsite maintenance teams. Terrance spends his free time writing, producing & performing his own music.
