Jill Herron serves as CEO for Herron Property Management.  Jill received her Associates Degree in Business at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and holds the accreditations of Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS), Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) from the National Apartment Association, and Housing Credit Certi

Jill Herron serves as CEO for Herron Property Management.  Jill received her Associates Degree in Business at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and holds the accreditations of Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS), Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) from the National Apartment Association, and Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) from the National Association of Home Builders. Jill has been a leader in the multifamily industry for over 30 years and has extensive knowledge and experience in many federal programs, including LIHTC, Section 8, Section 42 Tax Credit and HOME Bonds. Jill’s ability to focus and achieve owners’ expectations, as well as her knowledge on rehabs, lease-ups, compliance requirements, marketing strategies, and her ability to connect to residents and staff alike make her a top leader in the industry.

Shelbie Hill serves as President for Herron Property Management. She received her bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University where she found her love for property management. Shelbie has experience with multiple asset types including conventional market rate communities, single family homes, and affordable communities. Shelbie has proven abilities to hire, train, evaluate, and motivate team members. Shelbie is both a problem solver and a developer of talent, and has great strengths in budgeting/financial management, due diligence/acquisitions, and strategic planning for distressed communities. As President of Property Operations, Shelbie is responsible for the oversight of the HPM Companies’ current portfolio. Responsibilities include budgeting, cash-flow analysis, revenue management, contracts and negotiation, acquisitions, and special projects. Shelbie is also a national volunteer with her sorority, Sigma Kappa.

Stephanie Payson serves as Vice President of Internal Operations at Herron Property Management, where she oversees the seamless functioning of the organization. With over a decade of experience in the property management industry, Stephanie has worked both on-site and at the corporate level, giving her a comprehensive understanding of operations from the ground up. Stephanie is responsible for streamlining internal processes, implementing efficient systems, and ensuring legal compliance and risk management. As a licensed attorney, she plays a vital role in aligning business objectives with regulatory requirements and safeguarding the company’s interests. She holds a bachelor's degree from Ball State University and a Juris Doctor from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her four nieces.

Jenny McClure serves as Vice President of Human Resources and Benefits for Herron Property Management. Jenny received her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and began her career in property management in 2002. During her career, Jenny brought extensive experience in onboarding employees during property acquisitions and acclimating

During her career, Jenny brought extensive experience in onboarding employees during property acquisitions and acclimating new employees to the property management culture. Jenny has been instrumental in developing standard operating procedures for human resources and risk management procedures. Jenny is responsible for employee compensation and benefits management, strategic management with employee relations, diversity, employment law, performance management, and employee benefits.

Amy Doppler serves as a Controller for Herron Property Management. Amy received a business degree with a concentration in property management from Ball State University. She became a property manager quickly out of college and was promoted to District Property Manager and then to Senior Regional Property Manager of 14 properties and 3,000

Amy Doppler serves as a Controller for Herron Property Management. Amy received a business degree with a concentration in property management from Ball State University. She became a property manager quickly out of college and was promoted to District Property Manager and then to Senior Regional Property Manager of 14 properties and 3,000 units. Amy has over 9 years of experience in market rate communities, Section 8, and public housing. She is diverse in both Yardi and Realpage software and has extensive knowledge in the implementation of both programs. Amy works closely with the CFO to analyze monthly operations and productivity of each asset. She is a CPM candidate, pursuing her broker’s license. She specializes in new development lease ups, budgets, marketing strategies, NOI, and resident retention.

Emily began her career in property management as a corporate intern, however, she now serves as Herron Property Management's Software Implementation and IT Specialist. Emily is currently studying business management with a minor in accounting at IUPUI. She helps the team in any way she can is always willing to jump in wherever she is need

Emily began her career in property management as a corporate intern, however, she now serves as Herron Property Management's Software Implementation and IT Specialist. Emily is currently studying business management with a minor in accounting at IUPUI. She helps the team in any way she can is always willing to jump in wherever she is needed. Emily plans on staying in the property management industry after she graduates. She loves to spend time with her nieces and having fun with friends.

Jessica began her career with the company in January 2020 as a Property Manager, quickly gaining hands-on experience in overseeing daily operations and resident relations. During her tenure, she advanced to the role of District Manager and had the unique opportunity to successfully manage growth and occupancy during a multi-site lease-up

During her tenure, she advanced to the role of District Manager and had the unique opportunity to successfully manage growth and occupancy during a multi-site lease-up across several communities simultaneously. Today, Jessica serves as the Quality Control Coordinator, focusing on maintaining company standards, ensuring operational consistency, and supporting teams in delivering exceptional property management services across the portfolio. In her personal life, Jessica is a loving grandmother to her handsome grandson, and her family means everything to her. In her spare time, she enjoys riding motorcycles and traveling, especially to beach destinations.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Alabama Agricultural & Mechanical University and a Master’s in Public Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University, and is a certified Housing Development Finance Pro

She brings a strong commitment to creating stable, equitable housing solutions for underserved and unhoused populations.

Lisa serves Herron Property Management as a Regional Property Manager. She began her career as a leasing agent in 2001. She has been in the multifamily industry for 23 years serving in positions such as Property Manager, Floating Manager, Senior Property Manager, Regional Assistant and District Manager. She holds a (CAM) Certified Apartment Manager through Indiana Apartment Association as well as (ARM®) Residential Property Manager through the Institute of Real Estate Management. Prior to property management Lisa worked as a Real Estate Salesperson and continued to do so in conjunction with property management for 14 years. She enjoys spending time with family and traveling abroad. Her passion for property management, combined with enthusiasm for helping others and providing training, has led to a fulfilling and rewarding career.

She started her career in 2011 as a part-time leasing consultant and has worked her way up to a District Manager through hard work and dedic

She started her career in 2011 as a part-time leasing consultant and has worked her way up to a District Manager through hard work and dedication over the past 11 years. Rachel brings great market rate community management experience. Rachel also has great experience in property takeovers and new acquisitions. She enjoys working with her team and cross training, she believes everyone must be ready to be elevated! Fun fact about Rachel is she is an event planner/coordinator and uses her spare time and weekends to host events. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys.
